Based on the short story, "The Purple Dress" Meena's debut
novel is set in Britain during the 1970's. It is the journey of a
six year old child who becomes caught up in her parents
destructive and violent marriage and how she tries to
understand what is happening around her. The working title
is 'Between The Ocean and The Sea'
